MotorPro

MotorPro is a product developed by KOMOTEK with its unique technology and provides users with total solution associated with motor design and analysis. MotorPro is the first motor design software in the world that has been developed by combining unique design method associating the company’s design theory, accumulated experience, statistics, and experiment with finite element method. It is comprised of input GUI, shape module, and materials database and enables users to design a new motor within a short time period. With this software, it is possible for a design engineer to analyze the electromagnetic characteristics of motor easily without comprehensive knowledge on finite element method.

MotorPro-BLDC

BLDC motor is permanent magnet type synchronous motor that has replaced brush and mechanical commutator of PMDC motor with switching element of semiconductor. BLDC module in MotorPro is,

(a) Inner rotor type BLDC motor with exterior of motor is fixed with armature, while permanent magnet rotor that is magnetic field rotates inside

(b) Outer rotor type BLDC motor with fixed armature inside motor, while permanent magnet rotates within rotor structure.

(c) able to design and analyze Synchronous motor in permanent magnet type where frequency wave of counter electro-motive force induced in rotor is sine wave, and able to select either rectangular wave or sinusoidal wave according to driving method of drivers

MotorPro-PMDC

MotorPro PMDC can design and analyze motor with rotor which is armature with electricity flowing in coils and stator structure using permanent magnet. MotorPro PMDC can analyze commutation depending upon relative location of commutator and brush and help users to design and analyze permanent magnet circuit easily using finite element method.

MotorPro-SRM

SRM(Switched Reluctance Motor) is a synchronous motor that has salient pole type structure with rotor that consists of steel core generating reluctance torque and has large magnetic non-linear formation according to location of rotor and volume of electric current. MotorPro-SRM is a software that enables and helps users to easily design and analyze motor with nonlinear factors that had been difficult to calculate with existing design and analyzing method by adopting finite element method and various analyzing techniques.

ME-Spice

ME-Spice module is an interface tool that generates libraries for commercial simulation software. ME-Spice can be implemented in MotorPro and generates libraries applicable to commercial simulation software like IsSpice, Pspice, and Matalab. Motor design and analysis result calculated by MotorPro can be applied to commercial simulation software to simulate real time driver characteristics ME-Spice enables users to analyze driver characteristics with parameters obtained from MotorPro as it generates libraries for IsSpice and Orcad, Pspice, and Matlab.
